ABOUT SOMATIC MOVEMENT + BREATH Somatic Movement supports our process from living disconnected into a life of full expression. 'Soma' means 'of or relating to the living body.' In these sessions you will be guided through conscious movement and/or breath to be practiced with the intention of focusing on the internal experience of the movement rather than the external appearance or result of the movement. Somatic practices can improve motor control, sensation and change learned neuro-muscular stress patterns to help you stay connected through (and move beyond) stressful or uncomfortable moments or experiences.
